About Us
Our Story
Our WI was formed in 2009. After attending some introductory meetings, a group of us were encouraged by local WI advisors to set up a new WI in Skipton. After several different locations, and ideas for names, Skipton Dalesway WI eventually found its current home at the Three Links. The picture to the left is from our 10th anniversary celebrations, and includes some of the original group, most of whom are still members.
In 2023 we enjoyed a boost in numbers when we welcomed members of Skipton with Stirton and Thorlby WI to join with us.
In December, they celebrated the 60th anniversary of the setting up of their WI.
